Ahsoka' Theb Star Wars StoryRevenge of the Sith

Ahsoka picked up where her title character's story left off in the series finale of Rebels, which aired in March 2018 and opened up the fates of several fan-favorite members of the Ghost Crew.

Set in the same time frame as The Mandalorian, the events of Ahsoka take place several years after the fall of the Galactic Empire in The Return of the Jedi.

This is the period when the New Republic, a democratic government formed by the Rebel Alliance following their victory over the Empire, maintains only precarious control over the galaxy.

This cold open immediately sets the scene for the direction Ahsoka seems to be headed. Rebels, which takes place after Revenge of the Sith and before A New Hope,

The premiere opens with Belan Skull (played by the late Ray Stevenson), a former Jedi who has fallen to the Dark Side, and his apprentice Shin Hati (Ivana Sakhno) treacherously boarding a New Republic ship where former Imperial Magistrate Morgan Elsabeth (Diana Lee) starts with Inosanto) is being held.
