How to Save Pinterest Video Pins for Inspiration

Pinterest is a goldmine of ideas for recipes, home decor, fashion and DIY. Saving a Pin to a board keeps it inside Pinterest, but sometimes you want the actual file for an offline mood board or a client presentation.

Step 1: Copy the Pin link

Open the Pin, tap Share and choose Copy link. Short pin.it links work as well as full pinterest.com links.

Step 2: Paste it into SocialMate

Open the Pinterest downloader, paste the link and press Download.

Step 3: Save the video or image

Video Pins are offered as MP4. Image Pins are offered in full size. Choose the file and download it.

Build an offline mood board

  • Create a folder for each project.
  • Save the Pin link in a text file next to each image so you can find the source again.
  • Use a free tool like Canva or Milanote to arrange the files into a board.

Credit the creators
